Another project is the dresser!  We tested out the color we were initially thinking, (Valspar Swim) and thought it was fun!  We wanted to make sure it matched other accents in the room, so we held off for a while and will finish painting hopefully soon.

Then my favorite part - the walls were painted!  You probably already saw my picture on Instagram, I was too excited to wait and blog about it. :)  We went with Behr Pewter Mug and I couldn't love it more!  Nate found a great stencil online to get the polka dot effect on two accent walls.  We LOVE!

The same day the walls were being painted, our crib was delivered so it was a big nursery day!  This was one of the gifts from my parents to us and Bradley.  So special!

One part of the nursery that was very difficult for us to figure out was the crib bedding.  Everything kind of fell together except for that, then along came Two Little Fish!

The website can be a bit overwhelming to shop, but if you contact them, they will be more than happy to help!  Nicole was so great to work with - she will help you pick fabrics/combinations and they can also send you swatches to make sure you like what you are purchasing.  That made it so much easier and we all love great customer service!  It was great to see the actual fabrics in the room to make the best decision.  You might remember seeing this picture from Instagram when the swatches arrived! :)  Sprinkles loved it!

When the actual box of bedding arrived I couldn't get over how cute and perfect the packaging was!  Such a fun mail day!


We ended up going with two different crib sheets and a crib rail guard.  Also pictured is their ADORABLE crib skirt that I wish we had purchased.  It is reversible and so cute!  

Another piece we didn't buy but love - their reversible quilts!  Such great quality!

The items are pricier than regular bedding from Target or another retailer, but to have items custom made and unique to you while supporting a non-profit is priceless!  Definitely check them out and keep as a contender if you are decorating a nursery anytime soon!

I adore decorating nurseries and kid's rooms. Bradley's nursery was my first to do and at some point we will have to make his nursery a big boy room! So that will be my next project in a few months I am guessing. But I love it so much so I probably will only switch the crib to a toddler bed. :)

The first wall when you walk in has one crib. Over each crib we did their initial, either a flamingo or unicorn head, and then a little banner that I found in Bullseye's Playground at Target.

We might have to rearrange the cribs once the girls are grabbing at things when they sleep in here. This crib is super close to the curtains. I also moved Sprinkles cupcake bed in here (have had it since she was a puppy) because it is too cute! We still need one more dog bed because Chimi steals this one.

I'm not sure I will ever get used to seeing two cribs in one nursery. :) And we ended up not doing crib skirts, at least for now. It just seems so unnecessary and wasteful if they can only be used for a few months until you drop the cribs down. But we will see if that lasts because I do love the look of crib skirts...

My favorite part of the room is this corner for reading! We got a SUPER comfy recliner which I think will get lots and lots of use. 

I asked my dad if he would build a little dollhouse bookshelf for the girls in the nursery. He said he would, then texted me the next day and said he was lazy and ordered this bookshelf for the girls instead! Haha! It is so adorable in here and like it is meant to be! 

Bradley helped Nate put it together. :)

It will be perfect reaching distance from the chair. They don't have quite the collection like Bradley yet, but they will soon! Every time Grandma visits she brings a book for each grandchild and we know she will be visiting a lot!

The dresser wall was our first to complete. Nate painted this Ikea dresser and added the fun pulls then anchored to the wall. I love it SO much!
